Course overview
A childhood educator is responsible for children between 0 and 12 years of age. The Attestation of Collegial Studies program provides help to the future educators so they can fulfill the following tasks and responsibilities:
Address the basic necessities of children. Childhood educators must ensure the security of the children in their care, evaluate their necessities (hygiene, comfort, sleep, diet), give them the proper care and assess the pertinence of interventions
Address the children’s psychological and educational necessities. Childhood educators must develop significant relationships with the children in their care. They must maintain an ambience conducive to the evolution of the child or children through their interventions handling an individual and dealing with collective behavior. Educators must produce a life environment conducive to the children’s psychomotor, cognitive, language, social, affective, and moral development
